New Alpina B3 BiTurbo

I've been surprised as to the number of Alpina D3's I've seen when out & about!

Not a true Alpina though, imo.

Wrong fuel type. ;)

There's been a press-release about the 135i.

BMW are saying 306ps, 400Nm, 0-62 in 5.3s, 155mph and 31mpg combined.

As i have said before this car will be an Absolute weapon, a quick remap and five hundred quid later you will have a car that will 60 in sub five seconds.

LOL yah a few people said they will never make the car. It will give the S3 a good run for its money, I have test driven 130i a couple of times, its really good fun.

I saw a new 3 series coupe yesterday. It were black and looked stunning from the front. Had to be a sport of some sorts as it looked miles better than the normal 3 series that I dont find good to look at.

I really wish they'd put some effort into redesigning the Alpina wheels, those multispokes looked good in their day, but now they just look really dated.
that's a very fair comment IMHO.

Technically speaking - they are not. It's available only in the new Coupe isnt it?

Where it weighs the same as my 530i, so it's hardly going to be the pocket rocket you think of when you think 1 Series and Twin Turbo. Still very fast, but... not quite so impressive or tempting.

How is the 135i going to weigh 1605kg, when a 130i weighs 1450kg? I'd imagine it weighing something around 1500kg.
