New AMD CPU: FX-6330 Black Edition to be released

Yet another pointless release from AMD. It's a overclocked 6300 on what is quite frankly a terribly outdated platform. They need to forget about AM3+ and put everything into making Zen and AM4 something that people want to buy.
 
Yes, total waste of time.

I'm hearing conflicting reports on Skylake base clocking (Intel have told some one to stop apparently) but if it remains there is absolutely no point in buying this.

Where did you hear this news from Intel because if its true my plans of buying i3 6100 will go out the window and i will wait for zen

You seem to be a forgetful person - so I'll remind you - Zen has still not taped out. I educated you upon this fact in another thread in the CPU forums, not sure why you continue to sprout this false information:

Zen was a clean sheet design that started few years ago. We are in the final figure of executing and the milestone that you want hear us talk about is Zen tapping out, which should be over the next several months. And then putting samples in the hands of our customer and then starting portfolio of revenue in 2017.

And by the way, because we have this reuse approach for cores, you will see us with Zen cores in the high-end desktop first and then the server from our overall products standpoint. But the key is tapping out in the next several months, samples and customers for the validation of the product over the 2016 time frame and then the revenue ramp happening in 2016.
