New AMD ITX Build

I haven't built a PC for quite a while. My old Gen5 Intel system stopped working but I now quite fancy building a new ITX build, using AMD AM4. I know AM5 is around the corner but I don't want the hassle of a new platform and probably the extra cost associated with the new components and DDR5. I don't overclock so was thinking about the new 5800X3D CPU with a Radeon RX6800XT GPU, that should keep me going for a long time. Only use really is playing games. I'm mainly building it for MSFS2020 and I think this should give me good performance in game. Anyway the question is about Motherboards. I've never built a AMD system so was wondering peoples opinion on what board to pair the 5800X3D with. I know I'm limited with the availability of ITX boards but this is more about if I go with X570 or B550 chipsets. Is the CPU more suited to one or the other?
Thank you

X570 is usually has more ports etc over B550 but should perform simmlar to each other . So really it's a case of looking which each offers ,your needs and checking for what power phases they have .

Only real difference is the additional pcie lanes with X570, which is meaningless on ITX.

How so? Is this due to it only having one PCI-e slot?

What's considered good power phase wise. I've seen a Asus ROG Strix board that has a 8+2 power phase

The chipset itself provides additional pcie lanes, which on an ITX board is largely irrelevant as you don’t have the physical size to make the most of it.

Usually the more the better (smoother power delivery) just Compare them between models, strix are good motherboards.

Thank you all for the info. This config is pretty much what i had in mind.
You will need a cooler for the cpu, that case a 280mm radiator can be mounted on the front or a 73mm CPU cooler can be fitted to the CPU by moving the motherboard tray, versus a maximum of a 53mm CPU cooler with a vertically mounted GPU.

So made a few amendments. Wasn't sure is the extra £100 was worth for CL16 ram instead of CL18 so stuck with CL18. Videos I've seen for MSFS2020 say the faster ram the better but don't know if I would see any improvement. Also went for the PCIe 4.0 case and a Gen4 M.2 drive.
