Was looking at buying the 6300 but id like to know if the 6350 overclocks better as it is running at 125w!

Not sure on what to do now.

From what I saw in user reviews, the FX 6300 reaches 4.5Ghz on average so Id expect the 6350 to do the same or slightly better.

I'm currently eyeing up a 6300 or I was till yesterday.

As someone who can overclock is the 6300 still a better buy than the 6350?

It's reaching the point where there won't be any point having an unlocked multiplier with these chips soon, as they'll be hardly any OC room left from the stock speed they come at.

..only being able to go from 3.9Ghz to 4.5 (without crazy ass cooling set ups), would seem kind of disappointing to me.

Their just factory overclocked FX-4300 and FX-6300 CPU's right? so should be able to just find any review for the old chip where they did OC testing.

Double the L3 cache on the 4350 compared with 4300, which should help for gaming. But, otherwise, yeah - just overclocked 4300 and 6300.

Might be higher speed-binned silicon, though. Could give a little more room for overclocking.
