New Amp as good as my old one ?

if i spend around £500 for an amp to get better features like HDMI though and some new sound formats will i get as good sound quality as my old Yamaha DSP-A1 ?

its over 10 years old but was expensive at the time and im not sure the new amps will be as good quality unless i spend a lot more?

Probably not. Thought the A1 was a £1k+ when new.

yes it was and its still going strong.. sounds like upgrading it is not worth it unless i spend a lot more
