Just signed up to the forum and need some help with some upgrades.
I just ordered yesterday the Sapphire HD6870 graphics card without thinking a few things through, such as whether or not it needs external power, which I am now sure that it does, and whether my case is big enough for it to fit.
I have a Advent CQ9204 which is purchased early this year (click the link for the specs)
I just want to know whether or not the card will fit comfortably and not affect my systems performance.
Also, while I am here, I was wondering what power supply I should get. I have looked at the Antec Power Supply Calculator, which says the minimum power supply I should get should be 350w, and the graphics card's recommended power supply in 500w (found on another website). What size shall I settle with, bearing in mind I don't really want to be spending more than £65/70 on one, as if i need a new case I need to cash out on one of those aswell.
I came up with these, just want to know if they are any good, and whether the case will be big enough for my components, and possible future upgrades?
