So I just sold my iPhone 4 (and my really old N97), and I need a new phone now

I've looked at the HTC Desire HD which I like (I did have a normal Desire last year but got rid of it cause of it allways shutting down and rebooting when hot, but I still liked it), I do a lot of downloading on my phone so the extra speed should help, but I've noticed I never went above 230kbps on any of my phones, T-Mobile capping speed maybe?, also love the big screen, reminds me of my old HD2

Samsung Galaxy S, again I like this phone, but the build could be better

Nexus S, it seems like its just a Galaxy S but on 2.3 and it as a LED flash

I know the new Galaxy S 2 is coming out soon, but I can't really wait for a new phone :(, so I'm hoping you guys could help me :D

Edit: Just watched the videos on the Orange San Francisco, I might get 1 of them and then get a Galaxy S2 when it comes out, good idea?

Edit2: never mind guys, I've preordered the Samsung and I've ordered a San Francisco

You've done exactly what I was going to suggest!

The SF is a great phone for the money and theres a large community of people making custom roms for it so theres always something new to try with it if that floats your boat. I would definitely recommend chucking a custom rom on it as the stock rom is a bloated as heck.

Wise plan, HTC have the sum total of **** all worth buying in the near future.

Was thinking that myself, I would have thought HTC would have had something to go against the SGS2, but seems like that may be awhile off

Yeah gonna unlock, root and flash it when I get it

That's exactly what I've done too!
the San Fran is awesome for the money, my contract is up in about 5 months so will do me until then :D

the new Samsung Galaxy S II cost a lots which is over 500 quids if buy sim-free -- I own then Galaxy S that pretty cool and look good also cheap I bought from other online store and good offer with 3G contract which is very cheap.

The Galaxy S 2 price isn't set in stone yet though, it could go up or down and probably wont be here for a couple of months yet.
