Hi all,

Got the new range from AOC listed today. They should be landing over the next few weeks with only the AG273QZ due sometime in March.

1ms VA panels, 200Hz panels, HDR400 panels, curved ultrawides, there are some tasty specs here although no new IPS panels. Ofcourse the G2U range is available for fast IPS 1ms panels already.

Check them out and get your pre-orders on early to avoid disappointment!

The prices are dumb on the last two 27 inch 1440p 240hz TN for £589? And 2k for 200hz Ultrawide well thats me out lol.

Im guessing that VA monitors are worse than ips and TN monitors judging by the prices

VA has some advantages. Less glow than IPS, wider colour gamut and viewing angles than TN in general, blacks are deep too.

VA has issues with ghosting and poor contrast in dark areas (black crush).

For me I'd say its TN<VA<IPS.

that 34” for £369.99 is ridiculously cheap for the spec wouldn’t you say?

Sometime in mid march was mentioned.

It was estimated around then, however Wuhan Flu is affecting not only factory output, but also logistics.

So many rumours flying around. I heard from one individual that container ships aren't wanting to put into port, in case they get quarantined and not allowed to leave.

Currently there is no official confirmed ETA. I'll keep threads updated where I can.

Yeah, that would be great. I have my heart set on that 144hz ultrawide.

Wait what is going on with the LG monitors? I was looking to get one of their IPS monitors.

They had endless delays, I don't known what the situation is now, but those that pre-ordered initially were left waiting for months. OCUK had idea when they could fulfill orders, but they happily took people's money.

I see what you mean. To be honest its been a nightmare trying to find one. I asked for stock on Thursday and they told me they had no clue but it seems they received a nice amount the next day but sold out again. I got one from a different provider but they lost my package while in transit and now they are out of stock too. Its a s**** situation because the rest of the IPS monitors seem to have different issues.

The REP also left LG (AFAIK) not sure if there is a new REP and if so he does not post much.

Also seen a lot of disappointment once some get their monitor due to poor QA, I nearly bought the 32" 1440p 32GK850 last time around but based on reviews decided against it and ideally at 32" I want a curve.

There's no such thing as a monitor without issues, all have good and bad points and then there's unit to unit QC issues. I'd just buy a good one that's in stock. It's a panel lottery, I was lucky my Aorus was perfect, other people had issues.

OCUK can't supply products they sell, but they keep you dangling with nonsense about deliveries. I never pre-order anything.
