Sam knows says I can have

The following services are available in your location:

BT Wholesale ADSL
BT Wholesale ADSL Max
BT Wholesale WBC (21CN)
BT Wholesale SDSL
AOL LLU
TalkTalk (CPW) LLU
Tiscali LLU
Orange LLU (Formerly Wanadoo)
Please select the options on the left for more information about broadband availability at your location.

I was gonna go with o2 access but heard it was crap. Can LLU from them. I've also looked at ADSL24 Adsl2+ which is 30gb off peak £20 which is okay as I can usenet overnight :) then there's Xilo etc.

I'm in Lincoln LN2 postcode

what would you choose in my position? Willing to spend 20 a month :)

i use (and am very happy with) Xilo, 1 month rolling contract, 24mb (i sync at 20.8mb), £17.61 a month. They resell CPW - so you should be able to get them.

netgear dg834 version v4 (it is stamped on the bottom) or a netgear dg834gt (ex sky router). You can get one of these off ebay for around £20.

I've just ordered C&W LLU through Vivaciti as it was cheeper than the other resellers and managed to get free installation.

There are a few resellers at the moment:
ADSL24
Xilo
UKFSN
Vivaciti
Tesco

The whole C&W thing can get quite confusing as you have C&W that provide the LLU, then you have a wholeseller (in the case of Vivaciti it's Murphx) but from what I can gather the product is the same. Only differences are support and cost!
