Looks to be quite a large step up from the old one in terms of interior at least. Easily has the current focus beat on looks alone, which probably isnt saying much..old astra still looks better than current focus imo.

Current focus is only saved by its facelift, the mk2 compared to the original was incredibly bland, just about everything that made the original stand out had been toned down to a large extent. That being said id still say the mk5 astra looks better than the current facelift focus, The focus looks good from the front but then you see the side..and that says it all.

I like that looks quite understated but upon close inspection has some nice detail.

The outgoing astra was probably one of the best looking hatches in 3 door form, are they doing a 3 door of this one.

3 door is launching around mid next year.
