Having a performance issue here playing FF14 a realm reborn. While in game, having bad frame rate, its like having a small pause every sec, even on the lowest setting and fan speed is loud.

Tried driver 13.9 and beta 13.11 no luck. changing setting in catalyst makes no differences at all.

Right I'm completely lost, I'm sure its my end since I havent used a amd card for over 6 years. updating world of tanks and see what happens.

Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

update: Same thing with world of tanks, jerky game play and its damn loud, fans@100% all the time. Looks like I'm going to have to rma.

cheers. I'm about to install it on my other pc but find out that the whole card block the sata port so I cant test it on that one. Planning to give it another go on the current rig.

Here heaven4 bench default setting with dx11 selected only. Once the benchmark started, everything on gpu tweak goes up 100% and fan goes crazy loud like a handheld dyson. The frame rate jumps from 80-160 and back down every sec which example the jerky gameplay.

Here is final fantasy a realm reborn benchmark, lowest setting with 720p res, no fps but jerky video bench.

What you think uncle petey?

Just installed it after cleaning off the nvidia drivers. Running totally smooth in heaven and valley and also damn near silent.

The fans did run high before I realized that I hadn't un-installed precision x lol.

What I did was remove 3d and graphics drivers, nvidia sound driver but left physx. Cleaned with driver sweeper in safe mode and deleted the nvidia folder in c drive.

Installed beta driver 13.11 and ran benchmarks. So far so good.

as in previous treads i stated some matrixes coolers have problem with bad contact on gpu as the screws are not tight enough , that can cause fans to spin up as when its getting in high temps , try to tighten the screws .

also some other problems been posted for high vrm temps and video memory not being stable.

im waiting for mine in few days or so . will see how it goes

i have the same card. fans are really quiet. there is a firmware update available on the Asus support website for the card. i applied it to mine before i used it so i cant tell if that would help you out, but you can always try

I guess I got a faulty card. loaded FF14 and world of tanks for around 30sec and it already hitting 90+ compare to my gtx670.

Ok, starting my rma process now and some of the question on the webnote didnt get answered.
Would it be replace for another new or it would be sent back to manufacturer?
Would overclocker would refund me for delivery cost shipping it back to them?

Sorry this is my first time I had to rma any pc parts.
