New Asus Heatsinks/Coolers!?

I bought the new issue of PC Format today and they have an Asus cooler on their Dream PC which is the silent square pro which looks "cool"

I just bought an Artic Freezer Pro 7 which is meant to be good but these Asus heatsinks look very interesting! I am surprised no one has mentioned them before?!

There are heatsinks launched all the time and there are 2 reasons why they don't get picked up;

1. They are not sent to review forums so they get no 'enthusiast' exposure
2. It's not actually sold in a particular market

If they're any good, I'm sure we'll hear about it.

The first one looks like the ugly twisted offspring of a TT and a Zalman 9700

I'd like to see these vs a TT, Scythe, and Ultra-120 just to see how much they get sent to the "bling bin" of good looking, but rubbish performing, heatsinks.

I haven't seen any marketing. I haven't even heard of them, and I'm a keen follower of the market.

What you are implying is that Anandtech et al got these coolers to test, but they were pants so they didn't publish the reviews? It's possible.

Notice to any heatsink manufacturers out there reading this. Send me your heatsinks and I will test them for you. If they're any good, I will tell people about them. If they are rubbish, I will not. Any takers...?
