New Athlon 64 X2 AM2 5200+ Build - Spec Suggestions Needed
hi guys i'm about to build a new machine, i already have an athlon64 X2 5200+ for the CPU (yeah i know an C2D would have been better but beggars can't be choosers lol) and a Thermaltake WinGo V8000 case, but apart from that i have none of the rest of the components so i'm looking for some suggestions on what to get, the rough specs i'm planning on using for the components are
2GB (2x1GB dual channel) of DDR2-8000
2 x 250-300GB SATA HD's
GeForce 7900/7950 512MB Graphics card
as well as suggestions for the above components i'd also like some advice on what size of PSU will i need for this system? (and what do you think of the thermaltake PSU's?) also which motherboard would be best the best choice to tie them all together? (i've always used and been very happy with GigaByte boards but i'm open to suggestions for other manufacturers)
