Hi all,

I've just taken delivery of a new 2023 a5 sports back and I think it's missing a few items which should be under the boot false floor.

Anyone know what it should have come with? The dealer is going to get back to me but I would like to know myself beforehand what items are missing. All I have is a manual and a first aid kit.

Are there no cubby holes on the left and right side of the boot where the spare bottle of oil is kept (it'll be behind a panel you can release).
Does that plastic panel you've pictured lift up?

Ah yes, the good old imma-sell-my-car-to-webuyanycar trick. See this loads, those kits can fetch a few quid on ebay.

Thanks for the replys all.

Yes it's a brand new car, thankfully a lease.

Yes looks to be missing everything

What's the biggest UK Audi forum / owners club these days? Will post there and see if any member can tell me the exact items I'm missing.

If ever there was an opportunity for a Daily Mail article along with a large photo of you looking extremely sad at your shocking discovery :D

Either missed during the stage where they add this kit or simply removed by someone, hopefully you manage to get one sourced quickly and free of charge.

Talk about taking the shine off your delivery day.

Yes it has taken a little bit of the shine away. :D

I also have an issue with the passager front seat. The vertical adjust wheel seem to be stuck. :)

It's kind of what I've come to expect in recent years. Not sure if it's just me but I seem to have an issue with most new thing I buy or services I use.

Forgot to add the boot has only one left side cupboard type compartment which is empty and the plastic tray in the photo is fixed in place so nothing more underneath.

Yes I'm good. :) Was just trying to get across how it seems like the quality control of stuff is bad these days and no one seems to give good service or much care.

Update:

Found the tyre repair kit and wheel locking nut under the battery mount that can be seen in the photo. Not sure if anything else is missing but from my research it looks like jacks no longer come as standard. I'm guessing the top tray that's empty in in my photo may be used for some parts when you spec the car with a spare wheel.

99 times out of 100 the tyre repair kit is useless anyway - really not a fan of this cheaping out on the spare tyre. Especially the gunk just seems useless though some proper string plugs can be useful.

I don't think I've ever seen a new car with the locking wheel nut in the designated spot in the boot organiser - dunno whether it gets used at some point between the factory despatch and the dealer and owner but they always seem to be either in the glove box or one of the side compartments in the boot even on new cars I've experience of.
