Hope it hasn't been posted before!

I quite like it to be honest. Only thing that annoys me is the back window, it looks too 'long' or just out of proportion...
The headlights kinda remind me of new focuses too...

seen some spy shots and normal what it might look like shots, but then it was on top gear website this week aswell.

still not sure on it myself :/

The key thing is, that's it's no longer based on the MK4 Golf, and hence actually drives well. It'll be a big seller.

Not really news as I belive it was unveiled last september.

I really like the new more masculine look. But my biggest problem with it is the same as when I had the old one. In that I just don't think the 3.2l V6 is a suitable engine for it.

Sure it has more power than the gutless 245bhp 2.7l cayman but I'd still rather see a 300bhp turbo or biturbo affair in there. Sure I know they have the 2.0FSI Turbo as an option but is this really much of a move forward from the 225bhp 1.8T? which was quite happy upto 280bhp with just an ecu upgrade.

The guy who sits next to me at work is having the v6 DSG delivered in September. He's shown me a number of pictures in the last couple of weeks and it looks very sweet.

He took some at a special showing, for those who have already ordered, that took place in London last month.

I dunno, the press pics were only released yesterday. This is the finished car and I'd only seen small pics up til now so I thought I'd share :(

Unveiling of a spectacular car sculpture and
world premiere of the new Audi TT Coupé
• Giant sculpture as part of the initiative “Germany – Land of Ideas”
• Prominent guests from the worlds of politics, sport and society
• The new Audi TT Coupé shown to the public for the first time
Ingolstadt/Berlin, 6 April 2006
Brandenburg Gate, Berlin:
The events that took place directly in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on Thursday evening were extremely revealing. At 19:00 h, AUDI AG, official partner of the initiative “Germany – Land of Ideas”, and FC Deutschland GmbH unveiled a giant car sculpture on the “Platz des 18. März”. “The Automobile”, a 2.5:1 scale sculpture, is part of the “Walk of Ideas” which comprises six sculptures at prominent locations in Berlin that will be on show until the autumn. The evening continued in spectacular fashion when the Ingolstadt brand presented the new Audi TT Coupé to the world public for the first time, also in front of the Brandenburg Gate.

From the press site. So I dunno

nice, saw the photos posted on here a while back and have actually seen one on an 06 plate pulled in at a layby in nantwich :) looked really good!

Looks like it's lost it's hairdresser credentials compared to the old shape. I like it.

Disgusting rear end. Front is just another Audi

Pipes look like their from a Jag, Center rear from some kinda porche, wheel arches to bumper from the new beetle etc.

An RS is on the cards.

Agree with you mate.

My only slight critisism is it looks a bit "bodged" where the line from the crease on the drivers door meets the front quarter panel and bonet - it doesn't seem to quite fit right.
