Ok so I brought this a couple of hours ago:

Its awesome, I have ridden 2 years without one but in the space of 2 weeks and 2 different people falling off on group ride outs I decided to get one.

My take on it in the couple of hours ive ridden in it. Amazing, very comfortable and it makes you feel so much safer just having it on. Fits well under my 2pce leathers and its CAT2 rated so very good protection.
From what ive seen so far inspecting it and the comfort of it, dainese are very high quality (a lot of people will say obviously to this, but its my first time owning the brand). Ill add a bit of info here when Ive had more experience with it.

This has really made me consider buying a dainese 1pce next summer.

yes, i have a knoxx back protector similar to that. I ALWAYS wear it, you never know, when it will be needed. Thinking of getting the front bit that you can buy. but not sure how it will feel under my 2 piece RST leathers, the back one fits lovely and you dont know your wearing it.
Great pieces of kit.

Should be law to wear them.

the chest protectors are pretty good. i tried one of those on when buying the back protector. but my jacket is slightly toooo tight for it.

but guy martin said his chest protector saved his life when he crashed at 170mph!

I grabbed a few bits and pieces today for when I get on two wheels which should be within a month or two.

Including this:

Can't describe how comfy it is. Or how well made, it's absolutely solid, uses kevlar thread so I'm told, double layered yet gives plenty of flex & torsion should you twist. Reusable too which is a plus and I'm sure I won't have any problems wearing it no matter if it's a short ride to the shops or an afternoon out :)

I have that Benny, although no yellow piping! I find it encourages good posture too heh. Comfortable for several hundred miles.

Stupid question - do they go under or over a shirt?

I was looking at getting one, but don't think it'd be compatible with my office-shirt-wearing-commute...

I wear it over my t-shirt but under my jacket....

But it might be worth trying it in a store under your work shirt and see how it feels.

If you can get one then do because its really worth it!
