New Backup Solution Needed

Hey folks,

I find myself in need of a new back up solution for my new server. I was using Backblaze but they do not support Server 2016 unless I go with their B2 Cloud option which looks like it can get pricey pretty quick. I have about 3TB worth of data that I need a backup of so I am looking for other options.

The current favourite is HubiC since the 10TB option is roughly the same price that I was paying for Backblaze but I am more than open to other suggestions.

Thanks!

Take a look at Veeam. There's free and paid for versions.

OK thanks :)

Online or local backup?

Sorry I should have mentioned that :D, online is what I am/was after. I am currently trying out Hubic and seeing how it goes which so far is pretty well, the works on the server OS just have to leave the server permanently logged in which isn't great but I have no idea how to get round that atm. 5 euros a month for 10TB storage :)

Thanks for the advice folks it is always most appreciated :) HubiC seems to working OK atm though not sure yet what happens when files are moved around in the folder that everything syncs from. I assume that it would just sort itself out eventually.

Currently got 955GB stored with them.

Complete thread necro I know but I didn't see the point in starting a new one...

OVH are the guys that run Hubic and they seem to not really support it at all or at the very least barely. So I thinking of switching to possibly Crashplan. Does anybody here still use them? I know they seemed pretty popular when the had the Home plan going so just curious.

Thanks folks and sorry again for the necro.

Pricey? As far as I can tell it's $10 a month per device so unless you have multiple devices then it seems pretty cheap.

I only need about 5TB's worth in total but more is better :) Crashplan works out at only a little than what I am paying now I think so I will probably have a look at it.

Thanks!

Crashplan seems to be the winner here! Just signed up for a free 30 day trial and I am already in love with the app for it :) and it works on Server 2016 :D

Sorry folks for yet another necro here...

Crashplan is out the window! The stupid thing just keeps stopping from running and the service won't restart, I have mucked and messed about it with it now for like a month or more and I have finally lost my rag with it!

So back to recommendations then please folks, I can't believe it is this hard to get a backup solution in this day and age that works and doesn't cost a fortune.
