New bad Axe Bios available

If they dont provide the full features, they shouldnt charge as much as those that do. But anyway, i have learnt my lesson now, and thats to let others find out about all these things before i buy ;)

It is stable, with a E6300 @ 2800mhz so i cant complain. It could go so much further though i think.

Hi there

I've used the Intel board and can't praise it enough.

Rock solid stability upto 460FSB and seems to work happily with any memory too. Tried GeIL, Corsair, OCZ and G.Skill in it and it pushes them all well past 1000MHz 4-4-4-12 timings. :)

Over on Xtreme they seem to rate this board very highly and some have done some serious modifications to it it as well to take it that bit further.

I suppose its great if you have one of the higher conroe chips, but if you have a 6300, i would look at other products. Mine is currently at max overclock @2800mhz - and im fairly sure it will go further. The voltage options are lacking a little too.
You can do a few hardware mods to unlock one or two more options, but thats not really my bag, would prefer the warranty :D

As for stability, i cant fault it.

Anyone care to comment on boot times? Mine are pretty appauling. It takes the thing ages (comparatively speaking) to even see the Intel screen with the "Hit F2 for setup" bit.
