new battlefield game im confused

what is the next installment of battlefield called for the PC ?

as on EA website it states battlefield bad company for the ps3 and 360 nothing about the pc version :confused:

does any1 have any info? like what era its set in? anything to do with the pc version

Bad Company is an exclusive console game. The next Battlefield game will presumably be called Battlefield 3, although theres also a free game aimed at a more casual audience, not sure if that has a name yet.

Bad Company is due at some point 2008
Battlefield Heroes (the free one) is due again some point 2008
I haven't heard much about The full sequel Battlefield game yet.

its said that battlefield 3 will be like battlefield 2. I would like to see 1942 done again but hey i would still be happy with another modern war

i'd personally prefer a modern setting as i've never been to fond of WWII shooters, i cant wait for this game tho it will be sweet

Nah, 1942 was by far the best one imo. I would love to play Philippines once more but brought up to date. I also loved the ww2 mod for BF:Vietnam which happened to be my favourite 3 maps.

im fairly sure EVERYTHING we 'know' about battlefield 3 (the next full pc battlefield game) is speculation. EA havent even anounced the game yet, so all the little bits and bobs are probably assumptions people are making.

£100 says it will be just as buggy (and broken) as BF2142 was on release day though..
