This new benchmark was created by ex employees that built 3D Mark. It supports DX12, Vulkun and OpenGL. It works on multiple platforms like PC, Android, iOS etc

You can download it here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/basemark-gpu-benchmark.html

Guru 3d has done a quick rundown test with 22 cards

That Radeon VII looks pretty low to say it a £900 GPU
Even the 2070s is above it

What these test results like to comparing these different GPU's FPS in real games ?

The DX12 vs OGL vs VK graph is interesting.
What stands out the most is AMD's OGL drivers just plain suck. I guess they just simply don't care now a days but this might reflect on VK performance in the future. You can see that AMD cards do slightly better with DX12, but Nvidia see a massive performance up lift with Vulkan over DX12. So much for that nonsense about Vulkan beign a copy of mantle and disadvantaging Nvidia.

This has the effect that under Vulkan, a Radeon VII performs the same as a 2060 Super.

My Vega 56 did a bit better than theirs:

Looking in more detail I'm a bit skeptical of the accuracy of the results here. GPU frequency was reported at 1000MHz or so, when it was closer to 1600MHz according to Radeon overlay.

Weirdly the actual FPS I was seeing (as reported by the overlay) was about 8-10FPS. Weird test

when i went through to their webpage for the full look at my system specs it claimed my ram was running at 1033mhz NOT my graphics ram but system memory Oo, fired up cpuid and it was running at 3200. so god knows whats going on with it.

Vega 64 / 3770K @4.4Ghz / 16GB @2133Mhz

Doesn't seem overly consistent on multiple runs to me.

OpenGL results are horrendous! Looking at HWinfo the card just doesn't get anywhere near it's max clock speeds on either the GPU or vRam and utilisation is around 50%. I knew AMD's ogl drivers where bad but not this bad, I'm guessing it' my cpu possibly holding me back on that ?
