I don't think I will like this game, too many big machines and fat missiles etc, you probably wont be able to spawn without being blasted in a second... I will still buy it and see what it's like, but I will be suprised if I like it.

Not really looking forward to this at all. Will probably buy it but I have never been a fan of futuristic settings.

Another WW2 one would have been nice, although I dont think that would have gone down well with most people.

Ill just await BF3 with a new game engine, hopefully that will be another modern day or historic setting rather than a naff futuristic one

Think i'll have to agree. Seems like another BF Vietnam. And with Quake Wars coming out around the same, the amount of attention it'll get going to go down.

Must admit, other than all my mates playing BF2 (Stats and Points Ho's) I wouldnt be playing BF2 so I doubt I will be getting this. Im really enjoying some of the Mods for BF2 at the moment because there is no points or ranking systems.

Wonder if 2142 will be ranked promotions ?

Yeah I've tried the Project Reality mod which was decent, certainly offers a fresh perspective to the game
