Hi

After looking at B1H's initially for someone else I liked them so much I sold my Thundercat and picked it up yesterday.

As I'm used to riding the Thundercat the B1H seating position is totally different. When riding should your nuts be just touching the tank or should you try and sit further back? At the moment I've found the first option better as with option 2 I kept sliding forward even when gripping tank.

Does anyone know if the B1H has a factory shift light?

Is there a UK based forum for the ZX6R?

Grips and crash bungs have already been ordered as I'm not gettign any grip on the tank.

I'll see how it is with the grips.

Thanks

Thanks Eidolon

Can someone help me find tank grip pads for my bike as I seem to keep coming up with results for american sites. It's much appreciated.

There is a shift light and stomp grips will help you. I found the seat on both my B1H's sorta pushed me forwards into the tank.

Forums are available for the ZX6R but most are useless and full of cliquey groups of old friends. The american ones were always MUCH better and actually cheaper to order parts from the states as its much cheaper even including postage.

If you want any info on the B1H's then let me know, as I said- ive had 2 and I went as far as a full swingarm and wheel conversion with powder coated frame on one.

Great bikes

I was looking at those but as I have the stripe tricolour k1300s a big black thing will look the rubbish. I suppose they have transparent. I also suppose I should go and look :)

The best Ninja forum is www.mcnninjas.co.uk.

I have a B1H although I've not ridden it for a while, but its an awesome bit of kit. The seat I find is a little cramped and your knackers will bang on the tank as the rear shock is very hard. They're a better track bike than a road bike, especially when you consider the state of our roads! Learn to ride it well and it will reward you. :)

Thanks for the grips link.

Nice to see some fellow B1H owners!

How much fuel is left once the light comes on?

How easy are the fairings to get off to do an oil & plug change?

Is there a guide to some more road friendly suspension settings as it seems a bit too firm at the moment?

Also, check Simon Crafar's motovudu instructional. I believe he advises going 'balls to the tank'.
It's a different approach to many, but who's to say one technique works for everyone.

Got my tank grips from Drayton croft, They do Black ones Carbon look & transparent.

just ride it,its normal for your crown jewels to touch the tank, you can always scoot yourself back a little

nice machine though,thumbs up;)

The more I ride it the more I'm getting used to it so it's getting a lot easier. :)
