New bike has diff gears, how much difference will there be?

Hey all,
Im looking to buy a new bike and am curious to what difference the gearing will make.
My existing bike has 50/34 with 11-28
My soon to be new has 52/36 with 11-30

Would the new bike's bigger rear almost cancel out the bigger front, so it would be roughly the same?
I don't have any experience in this, so any advice welcome.

Presuming you mean being in 34 and 28 vs 36 and 30. If so it is almost identical 34-28 is 1.21 and 36-30 is 1.20. So just slightly easier but overall almost no change between 2 lowest gears.
