New bike MoT?

Hi,

Still not sure which R1 to get but saw a 2010 model (on a 12 plate) R1.

Question is, is it still 3 years for 1st mot or now just 1?

Trying to work out which is cheaper in the long run.

Buy a used bike pimp it out spend a few ££££'s or buy new old stock with akrapovic's no mots etc...no need to buy new tyres, stuff like that!

Clutch every 10-12k miles? My poor clutch is rather abused with MotoGP starts and it still feels fine after 21k miles

(not sure if me blipping on every downshift helps with life as I cringe when I think about what not blipping does to the clutch)

The clutch will in most instances last the lifetime of the bike.

After 11k of hard abuse my 10r clutch is still strong.

I keep meaning to test ride a new shape R1, I love the noise.
