I recently had a Rampage Extreme but looks like it developed a fault for the 2nd time so I'm now getting a refund for the board hopefully.
I'm now thinking of upgrading to the Rampage Black Edition, does anyone have any experience with this board in the way of overclocking.
My current specs are;
CPU: Intel Core i7-3960X Processor - 3.3GHz, 15MB Cache, Sandy Bridge
Memory: 8x G.Skill RipjawsZ F3-17000CL9Q2-32GBZH
GFX: EVGA GeForce GTX 580 Classified Ultra 3072MB
I been told I may have problems with the black edition on overclocking the sandy bridge and might have to run it at stock so I'm wondering if it worth getting? Anyone been able to overclock successfully with a SandyB?
