new board for intel in unraid

Hi i am just looking for advice if i can get away with a B660 over a Z690 for a non overclocked cpu, something like an Intel i3-13100 or i5-13500.with DDR4 memory, as i feel the Z690 is overkill for a server ?

As long as the motherboard you choose has enough ports and the features you need then your fine .

Oh and be careful putting a 13th gen CPU in a b660 or z690 it's likely to need a bios update to accept the CPU.

thanks all, i went for a gigabyte gaming x ddr4 in the end as i was getting stressed out watching videos and web searching.
