New board or buy again???

My DS3 just blew yesterday. I was wondering if i should buy another or go for a different board. I have been out of touch with hardware for a while now so need to do some catch up but in the meantime any recommendations would be welcome.

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 (BLOWN)
E4300 was @ 3GHZ
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400
BFG 8800GTS 320mb
