What kind of internet connection do you need? Fast/slow/unlimited etc ?

JUst for a mate, 1mb or 2mb would be fine..... Looking for a deal incl telephone. Not for heavy use so a limited connection would also be fine.

hi would also be interested in this been looking my self, talk talk seem to be one of the cheapest if you have their equipment in your exchange other wise it will cost you an extra £10 a month.

What is the wholesale cost for an isp to rent a adsl port at the exchnge just to get an idea of the costing, thanks in advance.

If your friend has Sky and they have unbundled his exchange then have a look at SkyBroadband.

talktalk are hit and miss as they totally under estimated demand. He got an orange contract by any chance ? Or an LLU enabled exchange (if so who has LLU in it - see samknows).
