Hi all

Looking to get back into gaming as my daughter is 7 now and would like to introduce her to gaming so we can play together.

Current system is :
1440p 60hz monitor
i5 12500 CPU
16GB DDR4 3600mhz RAM
Corsair 750W platinum PSU

Above system is miniITX build that I'm running iGPU. I would like to pass this PC to my daughter, just need GPU to add to it. What are my options, something like 6700xt ?

Also I would like to build new build for myself, also need it to be miniITX system(will buy Dan C4-SFX case next month when released).
Would like to buy gaming 1440p monitor that I would use for work as well. Have my eye set on Alienware AW2723DF.
Ideally I would like this system to last me 4-5 years, don't really have a budget in mind .......think mid range specs. I'm thinking AM5 platform so can upgrade path in the future, would something like 7700(non x as its better power efficient) and 7900xt be a good option ? I know that monitor is 240hz but running it at 144hz would be fine for me.

Some opinions would be appreciated, budget is not a problem but don't want to spend extra money if not needed :)

Yes, pretty good base spec already. 6700xt would do the job perfectly adequately

Specced this for someone else yesterday (you would be looking at similar)

Intel/NVDIA option (I chose parts which I believe to be compatible with the Dan C4-SFX, but I included the Lian Li case as a placeholder):
