I would also go x99 and Stulid has done you a nice build there. The psu could come down to a 650w unit as well unless you are adding another card at some point.

Thanks guys, I changed to the X99 and a 750w psu, but because you haven't added Win 10 (which I need seeing as I've only got my laptop windows) the basket total with it added is £1357.81 - is it worth going £20 more for the Z170 or should I go X99 anyway?

You get more cores, yes they run at a slower speed but the 5820K is not slow at stock and can be overclocked.

As the board is ATX it fits the case.

Antec kuhler glows blue and has a 5yr warranty.

Ok excellent stulid, thanks. Hadn't considered that case before, I know a full tower is a bit ott for my build though.

Might order in the next day or two, so open to a few more tweaks, but that looks great!

The Fractal Design S is a really, really nice case. There's no place to fit a cd drive tho (not like you need them nowadays)
