New build (£1k budget)

I have about £1k to spend upgrading my rig (A64 3200, 1Gb, 6800GT, 18xDVDRW etc). I plan to use my Coolermaster 201 Blackwidow but I'm torn on whether to get a CM832 for improved cooling. I will be overclocking and hopefully gaming at 1920x1200 on my Dell 2407.

Any opinions? 8800GT is probably for the short term until the next gen cards come out. Is it worth getting the 620W psu for future proofing?

Yeh, i would. Especially if your planning on getting the 9000 series. There's nothing indicating that they will be more PSU hungry. But nothing wrong with going on the safe side.

£200 seem a little high for a temp card, and the 'standard' Penryn's are out early next year, aren't they?
