New build, 3080 and no known ETA.

Ordered a new build on the 4th of October, and while I got confirmation email from PayPal I received nothing from OC.
This isn’t a major concern as my build is listed in my ‘orders’ on site, ‘order received not yet shipped’.

My main concern is with the understandable delays getting hold of my MSI 3080 graphics card. People who’ve ordered cards all have a place in the ‘queue’ seemingly able to check their position in said queue. Whereas I have no idea where I stand as far as I’m aware.

Emailed via the site yesterday but yet to hear back, obviously the lines of enquiry will be overrun right now, so I’m asking here if anybody has heard back on their own build.

Guessing it was custom order and not via selection pre selection like this one ?

^^^ gigabyte rep posts up with expected delivery periods which helps those that know their place in the queue . Wouldn't help yourself as much but you'd know when stock comes in at least .

Yes, it was a custom order.
Hopefully somebody will reply to my email if no info is coming here, but I’ll keep Customer Service in mind, cheers.

I too am in the same position as you. I ordered a prestige system on the 29th of September and it says "order received - not yet shipped". I've contacted customer service and all I was told is the standard build time of the systems, not my place in the queue.
I'm quite disappointed with no ETA.

Yeah I'm in the same boat, waiting for Customer Service to give me a bit more info on how people with builds are going to be updated. A queue system would be nice, and I don't see how that can't be set-up (surely the build queue is nowhere near as high as the 3080 card queue). I guess it's more of waiting to find out when the selected cards will be given for builds (in my case it's Gigabyte 3080 OC).

Was about to start a thread and then found this. I ordered mine recently but would also appreciate a queue system.

I didn’t order an OC GPU but went with a Zotac. I will only use this for playing WoW socially.

Four weeks / 20 working days gives me hope I wont be waiting too much longer. Ordered a gallium system on 11/10 and the order is still showing as order placed not yet dispatched. I assume its the 3080 Gaming OC I'm waiting on as everything was showing in stock at time of order.
