new build: £500

Hi,

Looking to build a new PC. I have just £500 to spend, so hopefully enough for a dual core PC.

Basically i dont do a lot of gaming but would like a gfx card in the pc that competes with a nVidia 7600GS. Is Intel the best option at the moment for pcs on a mid budget?

Would be appreciative if someone could spec me with an AMD pc, and an Intel one.

Overclocking isn't important

intel with conroe is the best "bang for buck" option

Do you need everything down to keyboard n mouse for £500??

Thats the first three done. 7600GS would be ok for the graphics like -

BFG 3DFuzion GeForce 7600 GS 256MB DDR2 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-026-BG) - £72.

nice spec viper im a little curious as to why you chose the 5400 RAM instead of the 6400?

Its cheaper PLUS I have had mine running at 420Mhz nice and happily.
