Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz - OEM £161.99
Asus P8Z77-M Intel Z77 £88.99
Silverstone TemJin TJ08B-E Midi Tower Case £82.99
PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III Series 500W High Performance Modular Power Supply - White £64.99
Samsung Green (MV-3V4G3D/US) 8GB (2x4GB) £53.99
Cooler Master Hyper 612S £35.99
Total : £491.54
Going to reuse my 560ti and a spare 500gb HHD i have kicking about till i can afford a 120gb SSD.
I am unsure what to do about the motherboard, as overclocking now seems to just be change the multipler the ability to change endless parameters to get an extra 100mhz seems a bit pointless... i might as well save the extra money for my next build or an SSD.
I just wondered if anyone had used this motherboard and got a realistic 4.3ghz overclock and the RAM at 2000ish with decent timings i would be happy. I try and keep the Performance/watt ratio ok.
Its important that the system is pretty power efficent and quite..... both seem to go hand in hand!
Any comments are welcome
