I feel its about time for my bi annual rebuild:

Current build
AMD 6000+ x2 CPU
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)
ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe/Wireless Edition
Gainward 7900GTX 512MB
Hiper Type R Modular Red 12 Device Connect 580Watt
Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Edition.
2 x - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB ST3250620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache OEM in (raid 0 - seemed a good idea at the time)

I think the only thing staying put will be the sound card and the hard drives.
Its fairly clear that Intel have pulled away from amd these days so will be open to any route. Ive been a bit behind the times of late so unsure of any forth coming price cuts or new product developments.
i would like to go down the vista route since sp1 has finanly arrived, but not really a fan of the pricing for retail editions etc.

Would anyone be able to suggest a decent spec?

I would say a budget of under £1000 if possible. would love it if it was under £800 truthfully.

Thanks in advance.
