Hi everyone, This is my first post AND my first build ever, so I'm a bit freaked out considering the money i'm putting into this (which probably isnt even close to what some of you would consider "high" budget!!). My budget is around £700 which for me is massive, but being an architecture student and completely fed up with crap ready to go computers in that price range, i've decided to go for a custom made one, which fits my requirements.
i'll will be using a lot of CAD software: such as AutoCAD, Rhino, VRay (rendering), sketchup, illustrator, photoshop and inDesign. and will very often be using several of these programs all at once. Rendering is the big issue, having had to wait for over 12 hours for an image to render fully. which is a pain.
I'll also be using it for occasional gaming (assassins creed / call of duty mainly) but not to the extend that i'm willing to pay WAY more for better graphics.
Would any of you be able to run over the list i've made and give me any advice at all concerning the hardware?
One thing i'm stuck on is intel vs AMD. and the amount of graphics i should put.
thanks a lot! i'm planning to order the parts tomorow and have it all ready by the end of the week (hopefully).
