Hi guys new year and a new rig :)
Here's what I already have:

Windows 8 64bit
POV GTX580 1.5GB
Xigmatek Midgard II case
Gskill RipjawsX 2x4GB
Samsung F3 1TB
Here's what I intend to buy.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £179.99
1 x Gigabyte Z77X-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £112.99
1 x Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive (CT128M4SSD2) £89.99
1 x XFX Pro Series 650W XXX Edition Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £69.98
1 x Be Quiet! Shadow Rock Pro SR1 CPU Cooler (Socket 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / 2011 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / FM1 / FM2) £35.99
1 x OcUK Black Gaming Keyboard (5105GU) £10.99
Total : £511.93 (includes shipping : £10.00).

The keyboard is for my daughters rig (my old one in sig).
It's purely for gaming so I will be OCing it and I play at 1920x1080 so I think my GTX580 is plenty for the time being.
My budget is £600 but tbh unless there's some definite mistakes I'd like to save a bit for a new gaming keyboard later on, or I could stretch to a larger SSD?
I really would have liked some low profile ram but I was bought the Gskill at Christmas and it does have some heat spreaders and therefore I'm slightly concerned as whether it may pose a problem installing my heatsink?
Another question is regarding cooling my case and whether I'd need a couple more fans?
Also will I need a mount for the ssd?

Cheers guys.

Cheers but I already have RAM.
Regarding the PSU tbh I was a bit unsure as to whether 500w was enough for the GTX580? I know the new IB CPU's are less power hungry but I was thinking of having a bit of headroom for future upgrades (SLI/CF) later. And yes it has to be modular :)

lol, not sure why I though you had RAM in the spec.

If you want SLI/Xfire, go for a really good 750 like a Seasonic or XFX, or any AX Corsair PSU. You cant go wrong then.

Sorry, I would spec from basket, but I cannot get it at work :(

I'd recommend you change the SSD for the 840 120/256gb Samsung, or THIS! The write speeds on the Crucial are a little slow.
