I am building a new PC for my son, the PC will be used for gaming at medium settings on a 1080p 22" monitor. I already have the components below, either new or part of an existing build but i am unsure that i have a balanced system. I was particular worried that the psu may be a little under powered.

Case: Ace ECCO 250 mATX
Mobo: ASRock Z170M Pro4S.
CPU: Intel i5 6600 Skylake.
Cooler: Be Quiet Pure Rock Single Tower.
RAM: Corsair Vengence 8gb DDR4 2666mhz.
GPU: Nvidia GT730, to be upgraded later to a GTX960 or 970.
PSU: EVGA 500W 80 PLUS.

Am I on the right track?

Thanks

That cooler is 155mm tall and I'm not sure it'll fit inside that case. Get a better case for around £30 or go for a smaller cooler.

The PSU will be fine. It's a budget unit but has the amps needed for all that plus a GPU upgrade in the future.

Thanks for the reply....I have roughly measured the case based on the existing installed motherboard and the cooler might just fit with about 0.5cm to spare. I will update this thread when I have all the parts and know if the cooler fits.

Thanks

Just read a build thread on another forum where someone used a Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler in the ECCO 250 so I have a little more confidence before I start the build.

It's actually a very good little case. I used one for the sister in laws budget build and with the sound deadening it's really quiet. The HDD/SSD mounting is quite clever too and keeps the airflow clear from the front 120 mm fans. If I remember right it has something like 160mm clearance for a cpu cooler. I believe I used a Gelid Tranquillo Rev2 in hers which is 153mm tall.
