Hey all,
I come here now and then for advice because you guys are pretty awesome and have all the inside knowledge.

At the moment, im using a HP Omen - i7, 16GB ram SSD, GTX860M . Its nice, does the job.

The issue is with newer games, its not helping so much. Love a bit of streaming and want to get into video editing more. This laptop can do some streaming in eve but struggles if I want to do a local recording.

Im looking for a base unit that can:
No need for monitor/k/m
Do Screen recording in OBS - local + streaming
play games on medium to high (pref)
Needs Windows 10

Budget? ... £5-800 Ideally.

Hi,

That laptop apart from the GFX part still looks like a nice setup.

Is upgrading the GFX part not an option available to you?
 
The laptop is pretty awesome, however it is a work laptop and gaming on it is already a little suspect!.

it is good, but not fantastic for streaming/recording because it doesnt have the graphics grunt.

I have checked the GFX card fits the case and it should do, 305mm vs 310mm

But I wonder if I cant work a i7+16Gb RAM with a lesser GFX card in there as that would be good.
