Hi all. I have wanted to put together a new computer for a while and have finally come round to doing it so just wanted some advice from you guys.

It will mainly be used for programming and gaming, with some video & image editing, and just other general tasks (including a lot of video streaming).
My budget is £500ish.

Already have monitor & OS but would also like to use these things which i have been using in another computer for about 2 years:

Corsair HX 620W
Zalman CNPS9500A (or CNPS9700, not sure) - LED CPU Cooler
NZXT Lexa silver panel

This is what i'm thinking of buying:

Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L - £84.59
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 - £123.36
Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 4850 PCS Extreme 1024MB - £135.11
GeIL 4GB (2x2GB) 800MHz Black Dragon EVO ONE DDR2 - £76.36
Samsung SpinPoint F1 320GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - £38.76
Samsung SATA Dual Layer Lightscribe ReWriter - £21.14
Zalman ZM-RHS1 Silent VGA RAM Heatsink Kit - £8.21
Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound - £4.69
ArctiClean Thermal Material Remover and Surface Purifier - 60ml Kit - £5.86
SteelSeries Experience I-2 Icemat Gaming Surface - Black - £29.36

Total : £539.15

Is that spec ok? Anything you think I should change?
Will those other components i allready have work with this system?
When it comes to building it, would i just put everything together and install the os?

Thanks.

Nice spec, Only thing I might change would be the cooler to a Tuniq Tower, Thermalright, Scythe or the Arctic cooler 7.
