Hi all,

I'm thinking of putting a new build together next week, I'm wondering if anyone can take a look at my requirements and suggest some components?
I'm hopeful that I can salvage existing parts but I'm open to suggestions. My absolute max is £700, and if money can be saved even better.
I'm particularly interested in suggestions towards cooling, as it can get fairly dusty where my PC lives.

I do use my PC for gaming, and I use it for work (using VPN/RDP). I'm currently playing Guild Wars 2, and my fps in big pvp fights is pretty terrible (2-4fps), I also have Witcher 2 and Metro 2033 waiting to play. I suspect my system is bottlenecked by my ageing Athlon X2 250.

Here's a list of my current components (excluding my worthless PSU,CPU, Mobo and Ram):

EVGA GTX570 (SC edition)
Crucial V4 256GB 2.5" SATA-II SSD (used for my O/S + steam)
Seagate 2.5TB SATA 7200rpm Harddrive

I don't require a keyboard, mouse, or monitor. I'll also use a trial version of Windows 7 and, await for the next release before deciding on which O/S.

Thanks for any help you can offer :)

agree with RJC. Getting a PSU to allow SLI may be a good idea, as 570's can be picked up secondhand cheap now.

Only change you could make is get RAM that goes with a colour scheme, other than that picky little detail i think RJC's hammered it. :)

Thanks for advice guys, that spec looks pretty good.

Just a quick question with regards to CPU/GPU cooling, would it be worth me splashing out a little more on something like the: Antec Kúhler H2O 920 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler?

Thanks a lot guys, I've placed an order :)

I decided to go with slightly different RAM (Corsair Vengeance Blue 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit)

I've decided to stay with the stock cooler, and I'll do some researching into coolers, before I start overclocking.

Thanks a lot for all the advice, and now can't wait to get building :)
