Thinking of gettig myself another C2D rig if I can sell all my remaining 939 stuff. I don't really want to spend too much (going for bang4buck this time round)so have been looking at the following rig:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-064-GL
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-142-IN
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-221-AS

Would anyone be able to tell me what sort of OC i would be able to get on the processor or will it be woth getting the 6300 OEM instead.

Thanks

Tbh its difficult to say as each processor clocks differently. But iirc the multiplier on the E4300 is 9, therefore an FSB of 400 (i.e. the PC 6400 RAM you have chosen) should theoretically allow for 3GHz+ i know many people have chosen this over an E6300 because of the higher multiplier. See if others with the E4300 can shed some more light :)

Also getting 5300 RAM running at 333MHz will allow for a clock of approximately ( * 333 = 2997 (or almost 3GHz :))

Don't know how well that board clocks but i'm sure it clocks well as I know it has become somewhat popular recently due to its SLi support.

Those choices of yours are all good, plus as the 650SLi chipset can unlink the memory, you can go to whatever FSB your CPU and mobo can stand, while keeping the RAM at 400.
