Hi all,

Been playing SC2 recently and it looks like I have become a victom of the overheating bug and my graphics card no longer works!!!!! So if I splashing out on a new graphics card I will treat myself to a new system as havent had one for about 6 years now!

It is to be used primarily for gaming. I do not need a huge hard drive currently have a 250 and am only using 160 of that. Would like the computer to be quad core. Also I prefer to upgrade my pc rather than build new ones. So if possible the machine needs to be future proof?

Havent looked at hardware for a few years though so I am at the marcy of your advice!!!

Wow, I forgot a budget?! £800-£1000. The hardware I may carry over is hard drive and optical drives. However they are getting a bit old now so an entirely new system is called for if it does not affect things to greatly!
