Building a new Pc and needs lots of advice pls:rolleyes:

Spec:
Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz
Asus P6X58D-E

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 OC 1024MB GDDR5 -Want an Nvidia Card but really not sure which is the best to go for. £200 is the budget for it. I do plan on going Sli. But not for a long while. 460/465 seem to be my options

Patriot Viper 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 12800C8 1600MHz
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB

Antec 300 Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case
- Really not sure on the case. Im looking for the most efficient Case in terms of cooling & cable management. Style comes second.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w - When I used PSUEngine I got 724W min and 774W recommended. That's with sli x GTX465, 3 HD, 1 SSD, 6xRam & Bluray drive

Prolimatech Megahalems - Read good reviews on this cooler. Willing to change though.
Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 120mm Fan - 3/4 Pin x 4 - 2 for the Megahalems. Was thinking of changing to PWM fans.Since the board has two 4pin connectors. Other two for Chassis.
1 x CPU Fan connector
3 x Chassis Fan connectors (1 x 4-pin, 2 x 3-pin)
1 x Power Fan connector
With only 4 fan connections what adapters will I need to add two more fans? Fan controller a good idea?

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound (3.5g) - This ok?
Samsung SH-S223L/RSMN 22x DVD±RW Sata
Samsung B2430H 24"
- Wanted a monitor with 1920x1080 and HDMI in.

Looks good spec

Gigabyte is meant to be one of best 460s so good choice

Re the case, the 300 has good cooling but not so great cable management tbh, its an older case now which lacks some features of the newer cases, that being said its still v good and cant go far wrong

PSU you mention possibly going SLI but then dont include a PSU powerful enough (by your own calculations, you should up this (tbh 700 is prob enough) its the one area not to skimp on - Id look at the Corsair or Antec 750W - both just uner a ton)

Cooler - thats absolute top end cooler, if youre on a budget Id suggest lowering it, or are you going for extreme OCing?

Monitor - you do know DVI is same quality as HDMI (HDMI merely carries audio as well as image) so you could go for a slightly cheaper monitor maybe, pay for the increase cost for PSU as well as maybe saving from CPU cooler

So you reccommend the -
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 OC 1024MB GDDR5 - £183.29
over either of these:
Point Of View GeForce GTX 465 1024MB GDDR5 - £176.24
Palit GeForce GTX 460 Sonic 2048MB GDDR5 - £187.99

Well if there is a case that is better at not too much of a price leap pls advise me.

For PSU: Antec CP 850W Modular Power Supply or Corsair TX 750W ATX

I plan to OverClock it to about 4GHZ. And no Budget isn't really an issue but I do want the most for my money.

Yeah you're right about the monitor I don't need the HDMI.
I think il switch to: Samsung B2430L 23.6"
I lose .4" though :(:D

Yep stick with the gigabyte gfx
You could look at this case
Re PSU, no not that Antec, that uses a different form factor than the standard ATX and is only compatible with a select few top end Entec Cases, either the Corsair you linked or this Antec
As for cooling, you can still hit 4 GHz quite easy without spending quite so much, e.g.
