Time to build again, current spec includes P5Q board, Intel T7300 cpu and HD4890 graphics. I am a bit out of touch with new boards etc and would like advice on what would be a worthwile good value upgrade. Sytem will beused for everyday use as well assome gaming so needs to play the latest games, currentmonitor is 24" at 1600 x 1080. Thanks.

Thats cool, how about telling us a budget, and what parts you need or have, such as do you have a case to keep? what drives do you have are they SATA or IDE? (that includes the optical drive also), what PSU do you have? do you want an operating system?

Ok, while aiming to replace the system as speced in my original post, i would hope to salvage some other parts, i have a large antec gaming case, enermax eg702 psu, sata dvd and hard drives 2 x 500GB, windows 7 if i can use again on the new system, 4gb ram 8500 ddr 2...

Budget has not been set, i tend to buy where the sweet point is in performance & value, so not limited by budget but will not buy the top end just if theextra price is not worth the gain in performance.
