ok as you know by my other post i have a ASUS M5A99X MOBO and also a ZALMAN CNPS 9900 MAX cooler
anyway the zalman cooler has a "fan RPM reducing resistance" for quiet mode (its a 4 wire conector that goes between the fan wire and the mobo with a resistor or something like that on it)
and the motherboard has i think cool and quiet and some other thing that reduces the fan speed when not under load
anyway as i need it to be as silent as possible i will enable all this
but do you think the mobo one will conflict in some way with the cooler one
in other words you can reduce load on the fan through the mobo and the cooler is it safe to do both at the same time
