Hi all,

Not built a PC since about 2008, so I'm a bit rusty on current specs, so please forgive any "obvious" mistakes.

I'm looking at putting together a gaming PC for my son at around £600. These are the comps I've put together, and was wondering if any body had any advice or can spot any mis-matches before I put the order in. Just need to build the base unit.

Went with AMD, only because I always used to use them in the past (better price/performance). Planning to run HDDs striped, with boot partition for OS, and everything else on another partition.

Also, should I go for windows 7 or 8?

Thanks in advance.

Paste comes pre-applied on the stock intel cooler.

If you are going to add an aftermarket cooler to the basket then a sachet of paste usually comes in the box.
