New build advice

So guys and gals

I have had a delivery of new stuff to build and am wondering what anti static precautions people take/use when there building a new PC I.e anti static band, mat nothing at all etc.

I never do, but if you are worried about it then touch exposed metal of a house radiator.

I just touch the pc case, even thou i sit on the carpet building it, never had anything go wrong.

Attach PSU
Plug into mains (do not turn on)
Build PC and touch case every so often

That's what I was told anyway and never had a problem.

Thanks I had seen that idea, just wanted to get a feel for what others do as this is my first build

Hey Stulid yes I finally have it built as of Thursday so just had a small go on Metal gear so far as still doing looks of reading regards monitoring etc.
