Hey all, Looking to build a new beast pretty much from new and need some advice if possible, currently coming from an Amd Phenom x2, kind of a noob so all help will be appreciated.

I've already got Hyper 212 Evo from my old machine which I will bring over, everything else will give to my bro.

So new build will be

i5 4690k
GeForce GTX 970 Gaming Edition 4096MB GDDR5
Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 2400Mhz
Samsung 2.5-Inch 250 GB 850 EVO + 1TB HDD WD Blue
hyper 212 evo
Supernova G2 650W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply
Corsair 300R

Got OS
Will get dvd drive later

I'll be using it for gaming, not heavily, Street fighter, Final fantasy, Batman, Steam etc, occasional AutoCad and Autodesk Robot Analysis, youtube and general browsing.

What would be a good mobo? as im little confused which one to go for.

edit: Will be using my 32inch TV, budget around £1000

Any changes to what i've proposed is welcomed.

cheers!

If its only games you will be doing then 8GB is fine.

Speed is irrelevant to.

Ah right, thanks. But will be using AutoCad and Robot 3d Structural Analysis software too and few other, I spec'd 16gb as a safety net too as currently on my i5 laptop with 8gb ram it does struggle at times.
