right my system is getting behind so decided to let the kids have it, old system specs are
3200+ AMD with 1 gig of ram and a x800 flashed to xtpe brought on release day many moons ago
looking at getting a:
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775)
Asus VW193S 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black
OcUK ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.66GHz (1333FSB) - Retail
OcUK Huntkey 550W PSU
Western Digital Caviar RE 250GB 2500YS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)
Gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 & DDR3 Motherboard
i have a spare case, dvd drives (will have to buy a controller card for 2 pionner burners, this comes to £586, which i think ain't to bad for what your getting, i presume i will see a big differance just with the cpu upgrade alone being core duo and i think i choose the right setup for future cpu support and ram, yes/no?
